Sorry the connection got cut off, it happens sometimes when I walk around outside. So, the John B story goes: We had a gig in Palm Springs and the main organizer is telling us that as the buses pull up, there will be oud music being played by someone up the hill. The "hill" is more like a rocky crag, not an easy climb up or down. I knew John (at the time) did
a lot of gigs in Palm Springs, I was hoping it wasn't him cause I figured he would break his neck climbing down at night. We arrive via minibus and hear the oud. It sounds like John but I can't see that far. My wife takes a look and says, "I see someone, it has to be someone really big, it must be John." And it was. I told him later to give up the oud and take up drumming. He could have been down with us in the center of the party, not stuck up on a mountain top."
Anyway, John's really great, I was sorry to hear about his deteriorating health. All for now, It was great talkiing with you. I'll check out your site.
